User Data Deletion Policy
The website avenu.me, operated by M.L. First Class Marketing (Company No. 515844082) (hereinafter: the "Company"), respects user privacy and is committed to protecting personal information in accordance with the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, the Protection of Privacy Regulations (Data Security), 5777-2017, the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the Platform Terms of Meta Platforms, Inc.
This document sets forth the procedures and conditions applicable to requests for the deletion of personal data collected through social login services, including login via Facebook, as well as data collected during ordinary use of the website.
1. Information We Collect
In connection with the use of avenu.me, and in particular when logging in via a Facebook account, the Company may collect and process the following categories of information:
- A unique User ID as assigned by the Facebook platform.
- Full name as displayed on the user's public profile.
- Email address associated with the user's Facebook account.
- Public profile photograph.
- Usage data and activity on the website, including avenues created, places added, preferences, and interaction data.
- Cookies and device identifiers for analytics and user experience improvement purposes.
2. Right to Request Data Deletion
In accordance with applicable law, including the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law and the GDPR, every user has the right to request the deletion of personal information collected about them. The Company undertakes to process each deletion request within a reasonable period not exceeding thirty (30) business days from the date of receipt of the request.
3. How to Submit a Data Deletion Request
A user wishing to request the deletion of their personal data may do so through any of the following methods:
A. Direct Request to the Company
You may submit a deletion request by sending an email to [email protected], including the following details:
- Full name of the user.
- Email address associated with the account on the website.
- An explicit statement that the request pertains to the deletion of personal data.
- Any additional identifying information that may assist in locating the account (optional).
B. Removing the Application via Facebook Settings
The user may revoke avenu.me's access to their Facebook account and request data deletion as follows:
- Log in to your Facebook account and navigate to Settings & Privacy > Settings.
- Select Apps and Websites.
- Locate avenu.me in the list of connected applications and click Remove.
- In the dialog that appears, check the option to Delete all posts, photos, and videos published via avenu.me (if applicable).
- Click Send Request to submit the data deletion request.
C. Telephone Request
You may contact us by telephone at +972-52-379-4948 Sunday through Thursday, 09:00–17:00 (Israel Standard Time).
4. Scope of Deletion
Upon approval of the deletion request, the Company shall proceed to delete the following information from its systems:
- Personal account details, including name, email address, and profile photograph.
- The Facebook identifier associated with the account.
- Usage data and activity on the website, including avenues, places, preferences, and interaction data.
- Cookies and tracking identifiers associated with the user.
5. Exceptions and Data Retention
The Company reserves the right to retain certain information following receipt of a deletion request, solely in the following circumstances:
- Legal Obligation: Where applicable law requires the Company to retain certain information for a prescribed period, including for tax reporting purposes, compliance with court orders, or regulatory requirements.
- Legitimate Interest: Information necessary to protect the Company's legal rights, including in connection with pending or anticipated legal proceedings.
- Anonymized and Aggregated Data: Anonymous statistical data that does not permit the personal identification of the user, used for analysis and service improvement purposes.
6. Confirmation and Tracking
Upon receipt of a deletion request, the Company shall send the user an acknowledgment email containing a unique reference number. The user may use this reference number to track the status of their request. The Company shall send an additional notification upon completion of the deletion process.
7. Effect of Deletion on User Account
Please note that the deletion of personal data will result in the irreversible cancellation of the user's account on avenu.me. Following deletion, it will not be possible to restore the account, avenues, places, virtual coins, or any other information previously associated with the account.
